He introduced topics including how individuals can chart their own career paths and career strategies that companies and organizations should consider, directed at working professional graduate students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Graduate School of Welfare and Medical Management at Bunkyo Gakuin University has been holding a course (15 sessions in total) on the theme of human resources marketing since September 2025. The regular sessions are taught (as a visiting professor) by Megumi Ushikubo, President and Representative Director of Infinity Inc., who has appeared frequently in media including television. Completed an MBA at Rikkyo University Graduate School (2019).<br>After graduating from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Film (Screenwriting) and working for five years at a major publishing company, she founded the marketing company Infinity Inc. in April 2001 and serves as its President and Representative Director. Since then, she has served in numerous roles including as a Specialist Member of the Fiscal System Council at the Ministry of Finance, a Policy Commentator for the Cabinet Office&#8217;s &#8220;Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy,&#8221; and as a committee member and research group member for the Cabinet Secretariat and the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, among others. She has also served as a judge for advertising awards including the Nikkei Advertising Awards and Japan Magazine Advertising awards. She is a member of the Japan Academy of Management and the Japan Marketing Association, and a member of the &#8220;Big Data Analysis Research Group&#8221; at Doshisha University&#8217;s Creative Economy Research Center.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Masato Tsukada took the stage as a guest lecturer for that session, delivering a talk on the theme of &#8220;Organizations, Human Resources, and Career Strategy.&#8221; He introduced his own career to approximately 20 graduate students attending both in-person and online, and explained the businesses of Mirai Works and the services of &#8220;ConsulNext.jp.&#8221; He also carefully addressed, one by one, topics of interest to working professional graduate students \u2014 such as why employees leave, how to attract excellent talent, and how to think about career strategy going forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"630\" src=\"https:\/\/mirai-works.co.jp\/consulnext\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-6650\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mirai-works.co.jp\/consulnext\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image.jpeg 1200w, https:\/\/mirai-works.co.jp\/consulnext\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-1024x538.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/mirai-works.co.jp\/consulnext\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/image-768x403.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photo: ConsulNext Senior Consultant Masato Tsukada, who delivered a guest lecture at the working professional course of the Graduate School of Welfare and Medical Management at Bunkyo Gakuin University<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the lecture, Tsukada maintained a continuous dialogue with the graduate students, responding to each person&#8217;s concerns. For example, he asked those who had experienced a subordinate resigning to raise their hand, then listened one by one to the circumstances and reasons behind each resignation, and offered solutions tailored to each situation and reason. He also put himself in the shoes of those who leave, advising on how to build an organization in which employees do not resign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also addressed how individuals can chart their own career paths. To the graduate students attending the course, he offered the following advice: &#8220;It is fine to stay at your current company and aim for promotion. It is also fine to change jobs to a competitor in the same industry. There are also options such as shifting to a different industry or starting your own business. After completing this course, I hope you will open your eyes to all the possibilities that your career holds. However, please do not lose sight of the balance between &#8216;what you want to do,&#8217; &#8216;what you are able to do,&#8217; and &#8216;what is needed of you.&#8217; Even if you have the skills to achieve what you want to do, if there is no demand for it, the likelihood of being accepted by society is low. It is advisable to explore your career while determining what will be required in the society of the future.&#8221; He further encouraged them: &#8220;Regardless of whether you change jobs or not, since you have gone out of your way to attend graduate school while working, I hope you will use this course as an opportunity to take stock of your career to date. It is important to organize what kinds of experiences you have accumulated, what kinds of skills you have developed, and how you have contributed to your company or organization. Please take the opportunity to reflect on your career by, for example, creating a work history document.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Q&amp;A session in the second half of the lecture, Tsukada engaged in dialogue and responded one by one to questions such as what kind of communication is needed to explore a subordinate&#8217;s motivation, how to design an evaluation system that prevents employees from leaving, and how to remove anxiety about careers among younger generations. Among the questions was one directed at Tsukada \u2014 who has conducted interviews with numerous job seekers aiming to become consultants \u2014 asking him to share the key points for identifying whether someone is excellent in a hiring interview. In response, Tsukada advised: &#8220;It is not always easy to identify whether someone is excellent in a 30-minute or one-hour interview. Some people change after joining the company, for better or for worse. However, by repeatedly asking questions such as &#8216;Why do you want to become a consultant?&#8217; and &#8216;Why do you want to join this particular company?&#8217;, you can gain a sense of how serious someone is about wanting to join. I also think it is important whether they are a good fit for the company&#8217;s philosophy and culture, so I encourage you to put your heads together internally to create a set of interview
